What is the Vancouver Field Sports Federation (VFSF)?

Who are members of the VFSF?

The Federation's membership consists of two delegates each from field sports that use facilities in Vancouver:  organized baseball, football (tackle, touch, flag), cricket, field hockey, field lacrosse, rugby, soccer, softball, track and field, ultimate (disc sports), and volleyball.  All field users are welcome at meetings, however, only delegates may vote.

What is the purpose of the VFSF?

The Vancouver Field Sports Federation works with the Vancouver Park Board and staff to develop, maintain, and schedule the use of sport field facilities.
The VFSF is a strong advocate for field sports within the city of Vancouver, maintaining an ongoing dialogue regarding field maintenance issues as well as creating a vision for the future of facilities and usage in the future.

When does the VFSF meet?

Meetings are held  four-five times a year with an Annual General Meeting typically in November. These meetings are open to interested parties.
If you would like to be notified of meetings, please contact the Vancouver Park Board.
